I thought I would give everyone an update. Last Tuesday I was talking to two co-workers when I suddenly became real dizzy. The room would not quit spinning. My clerk rushed me to the emergency room. While I was there, they placed me on the heart monitors. I was fixing to be released when the doctor came in and told me he was keeping me overnight due to my EKG being abnormal and my heart enzyme level being elevated. On Wednesday, the cardiologists came in and said that he was gonna order a stress test but after looking at my ECHO and EKG results (both abnormal) he was skipping the stress test and he was going to perform and Angiogram on me. He thought maybe I had a heart attack. After the angiogram, he told me he found no blockages and no heart damage. He still can’t figure out what was causing the abnormal test results or elevated levels. I went home on Thursday and returned to work on Monday. I think I should have waited to come back or at least started a little slower. My leg is swollen and I have a call into the doctor to find out what I need to do at this point. It is always a waiting game.
Still on a health note, my mom is going to the doctor today for kidney stones. She has been having a lot of stomach problems and a CT on her stomach showed kidney stones. Not sure what they are gonna do for her but will keep everyone posted.
