Boy was does the time go? It seemed like just yesterday I had babies and now I have a Freshman, 2 8th graders and a 6th grader. It doesn't seem possible. They are growing up fast and achieving well beyond my imagination. SOmetimes it makes me wonder what I accomplished when I was in school surprised my parents or if I could have done more. I know that as a parent we set our expectations for our children high but it seems like they exceed those wellbefore they even start school. Brandon received commended on all of his TAKS scores except one. Tyler and Chelsea passed with above average scores and well Kendall passed science on first try, reading on second try and as of right now he going to have to attend summer school for math. I can't seem to get it through his thick skull that if he would apply himself all year then he wouldn't have to do this. In other news....I think I have had enough of this job. I have applied several other places and even in other towns...I do not think it would hurt my feelings to move away from Odessa....Tina lives in Amarillo and Shawn lives in Bethany Ok....either place or somewhere in between would be amazing....Sometimes when you feel like you just need a friend to talk to to it would be nice to say hey face to face instead of on the phone or through emails or texting....Tina's baby John is fixing to turn 2 and I haven't even seen him except in pictures...Shawn and his wife are fixing to have twins and I probably won't see them until they are going into high school....It really is sad when all I want is to live close to the two most important people in mine and Wayne's lives....Well enough pity party for me....i guess I will get back to this hell hole I call work.
